EcoHub Xpo 2025 – Vietnam’s First Green 3D Digital Exhibition Officially Launched

Ho Chi Minh City, July 1, 2025 - EcoHub Xpo 2025, a pioneering 3D digital exhibition themed “No-Carbon City”, was officially launched this morning as part of the Green Trade Forum 2025. This marks the first-ever virtual reality exhibition in Vietnam that simulates a carbon-neutral city - a major milestone for the B2B e-commerce industry and a strategic step by Ho Chi Minh City toward building a carbon-neutral urban area aligned with Vietnam’s Net Zero 2050 commitment.

The event is jointly organized by Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Arobid Technology JSC. At the same time, EcoHub - Vietnam’s first green B2B e-commerce platform (ecohub.arobid.com) — was also officially introduced.

EcoHub Xpo 2025 – A Digital Trade Infrastructure Empowering Green Transition

As Vietnam’s first 3D virtual exhibition simulating a zero-emission city, EcoHub Xpo 2025 offers an immersive and interactive 3D experience. Users can explore green production and consumption processes, sustainable urban models, and engage in global trade - anytime, anywhere. The entire exhibition is integrated into the EcoHub platform, developed by Arobid, to serve businesses transitioning to low-emission models and meeting global ESG standards.

At the launch ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Khac Van, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper, shared: “We are proud to not only report on policy but also work alongside government and businesses to create real impact. From launching the Green Business Awards in 2006, to leading the Green Consumption Campaign in 2010, and now with EcoHub - a platform built on transparency, digitalization, and sustainability -we are committed to fostering a closed-loop green enterprise ecosystem where technology, media, and practical action go hand-in-hand.”

Mr. Van emphasized that EcoHub is not merely an e-commerce platform, but a digital trade infrastructure that helps especially SMEs overcome barriers in their green transition journey. From emissions tracking, ESG reporting, to international market access (EU, Japan, U.S.), EcoHub offers a comprehensive toolset to enable sustainable business development.

Government Endorsement: Green Trade as a Strategic Imperative

Delivering remarks at the forum, Mrs. Phan Thi Thang - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade - praised the launch of EcoHub and EcoHub Xpo, especially amid increasing pressure from Vietnam’s global climate commitments.

“The creation of a green B2B e-commerce platform is a vital foundation to enhance Vietnamese businesses’ competitiveness and is a practical tool for realizing our national green growth strategy,” said Deputy Minister Thắng.

She outlined five key priorities to build a sustainable trade ecosystem:

Finalize policy frameworks for green e-commerce development
Apply digital technology in production and management
Support SME access to green B2B platforms
Build low-emission domestic supply chains
Foster a culture of green consumption across society

These initiatives aim to position Vietnamese enterprises in global value chains and help them meet stringent environmental standards in major markets like Europe and North America.

EcoHub: A Real-World Platform for Sustainable Transformation

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Van Chin, Chairman of Arobid Technology JSC, said: “EcoHub Xpo 2025 is the result of more than three years of research and development. We aim to provide a practical platform that enables businesses not only to trade, but also to digitize operations, disclose ESG data, and build a green brand - all in a sustainable, effective way.”

The Green Trade Forum 2025 also welcomed leading enterprises such as Saigon Co.op, SCC, Binh Minh Plastics, SCG, OPC, along with hundreds of SMEs that have registered to join the EcoHub platform. The forum serves not only as a policy dialogue and tech showcase, but as the first step toward building Vietnam’s largest digital green business community.
