According to Mr. Cao Xuan Thang – Trade Counsellor of Vietnam in Singapore, many multinational corporations expressed strong interest in investment opportunities in Vietnam during the recent working session between Arobid and the Singaporean business delegation held in Ho Chi Minh City.
Strengthening Vietnam – Singapore Business Cooperation
On the afternoon of October 2, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, Arobid Technology JSC welcomed a delegation of Singaporean enterprises. This activity followed the launch of the Vietnam – Singapore B2B E-Commerce Platform in Singapore last August.
The delegation was led by Mr. Cao Xuan Thang, Trade Counsellor of Vietnam in Singapore, with the participation of Mr. Tran Phuoc Anh, Ambassador of Vietnam to Singapore. This working trip is considered an important step to reinforce strategic cooperation between the two business communities, while also officially kicking off a series of activities leading up to the event “Vietnam – Singapore: Digital Exhibition – A New Era of B2B E-Commerce.”
During the meeting, the two sides focused on discussing market potential, real cooperation demands, as well as the development orientation of a sustainable digital trade model. Arobid.com was introduced as a global e-commerce ecosystem integrating 3D/VR online exhibitions along with smart pitching and matching spaces, enhancing the quality of business connectivity.
Arobid.com – A Cross-Border Trade Bridge
One of the highlights of Arobid.com is its ability to consolidate all international trade activities into a single platform. Businesses can easily register booths, schedule meetings, select suitable partners, and conduct transactions seamlessly, regardless of time and location. As a result, geographical distances are shortened, Vietnamese export activities are strongly supported, and the global supply chains of Vietnamese enterprises are further expanded.
This event also received support from the Embassy of Vietnam in Singapore and several reputable associations such as the Singapore Food Manufacturers' Association (SFMA), Singapore Food Association Alliance (SFAA), Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC), and VIETCHAM Singapore. This forms a solid foundation for Vietnamese enterprises to connect with the international business ecosystem and expand bilateral cooperation opportunities.
Singaporean Enterprises Interested in Investing in Vietnam
Speaking to the press on the sidelines of the event, Mr. Cao Xuan Thang shared that this delegation included many multinational corporations. Although specific plans have not yet been announced, through direct discussions, several businesses expressed particular interest in the Vietnamese market, especially in manufacturing, processing, fabrication, and commercial services – sectors that have recently been strongly attracting FDI inflows.
The delegation comprised many mid-level and senior executives, making direct interactions such as this especially meaningful in helping them gain a clearer understanding of Vietnam’s investment environment, as well as how digital platforms like Arobid can facilitate quick and effective market entry for foreign enterprises.
In addition to exploring policies, Singaporean companies were also directly connected with Vietnamese businesses to exchange and negotiate, thereby opening opportunities for two-way trade cooperation. This was also an opportunity for Vietnamese companies to showcase their products and services while expanding their global supply networks.
Mr. Cao Xuan Thang further emphasized that since the launch of the Arobid platform in Singapore, many foreign businesses have proactively traveled to Vietnam to better understand this ecosystem. This demonstrates the potential and appeal of Vietnam’s digital technologies in building a modern trade platform, highly recognized by the international community.
Towards the Vietnam – Singapore B2B Digital Exhibition
This working session not only reinforced cooperation between the two countries’ business communities but also marked the beginning of a series of events implementing the bilateral Vietnam – Singapore B2B e-commerce platform. This is part of the effort to make Vietnam – Singapore cooperation a model for regional trade in ASEAN, while gradually expanding to global markets.
In the coming time, Arobid will continue working with strategic partners to prepare for the event “Vietnam – Singapore: Digital Exhibition – A New Era of B2B E-Commerce.” This is expected to be an international convergence point where goods enterprises, service providers, and global investors come together to jointly build a transparent, modern, and sustainable digital trade ecosystem.
